I came across this trailer based in Hartford, CT. Couldn't find much on this but so far it seems they are now trying to turn this into a series rather than a movie. This story covers the struggling police department of Hartford, CT second district and thier battles against gang activity and territory possession.
My guess is it would be a straight to dvd flick but regardless, I commend those involve to show another side of CT that not everyones familiar w/. No release dates yet as they seemed to be in post-production. Stay tuned to their facebook for more info.

The homie from Providence, Jon Hope dropped his latest project WaterFire: Collection of Emotions in collaboration with DJBooth.net. The EP features production by Taktix of Black Keyz Productions.
I'm only a few tracks in and I'm already impressed.
I just really hope his album doesn't turn into another Act II/24HR Karate School fiasco. But I can understand the fact of making sure its a classic. As I said before, I'm waiting on that debut but for now I can rock w/ this. Stay close for that upcoming mixtape.
